of your Child's Teeth

Expert loving advice from Dr. Granpa Ken

It is totally amazing to see and learn about your child’s dental development. THE ALL STAR PARENT should learn everything they can about this process so they will become a smart dental consumer.

Don’t let those professional people pull the “Wool” over your eyes!

By the 5th month of pregnancy primary or “Baby” teeth are already starting to form. Soon after birth the permanent (Adult) tooth buds are beginning to form. Mom, as you already know this is an extremely important time to keep yourself healthy. No smoking or alcohol for certain! You should take supplements if recommended by your physician. Eat healthy and get plenty of sleep. This is a family affair – don’t hesitate to ask your husband to step up and give a helping hand, especially during the first and third trimester.

Watching your children grow and mature is a special process for parents and most siblings. You know there is a Creator when you visibly watch the amazing changes that take place in your body as well as your child’s growth. AWESOME!

This section, regarding growth and development of your child’s teeth and jaws, will enable you to learn what to expect as they go through each stage from birth to young adulthood. This topic will be divided into several sections that zero in on each phase of their growth.
